In as much as my horseless carriage and I have returned to Kirkland. Amazingly, even though the Seattle-area had been long done with snowfall after I had arrived there, driving here seemed (still seems actually) sketchier than the driving I did in Spokane and Castlegar. Maybe it’s the fact that the temperatures hover around melting point, creating exceedingly treacherous and nasty conditions, though I’m inclined to say the people trying to push 40 on sideroad in their SUVs with California license plates may be a contributing factor as well.

alright, i guess this is my state of the union…

i get tired of these lies / and these endless macguffins
plus i’m sure that i’m so fly / i’m superbad like mclovin
meanwhile i bring content / while other rappers bring nothing
i’m more like breakfast biscuits / while they are just mcmuffins
i’m like a bottle of surge / cut with some redbull and amp
verbally always the champ / out from a city so damp
i’m just a precocious scamp / i get into some mischief
but i’m just making my stamp / so can i get as known as zangief

and yeah, it’s funny to watch myself / up on all of these screens
and yeah, you might even think / that now i’m living my dreams
but every victory notched / came with a couple of losses
life ain’t so rosy and pink / it’s more like infinite bosses
i’m not the only one feeling that / just the only one talking
because i’m so uninhibited / a fact that’s not shocking
some people say that i’m mocking / all the work they that do
but all i’m doing is blocking / out the work of wack noobs

we never had A&R reps / all trying to jock us
by this point it should be clear / the mainstream’s tryin to block us
buddy, you’re kidding yourself / if you think they can find us
they’d rather get someone else / who doesn’t rap about linus
who doesn’t make megahits / without spending a fortune
who doesn’t hit every get / while they’re posting on 4chan
plus we don’t use autotune / we can actually sing
we leave the industry ruined / cause we’re delivering

and I could do it all day / with 4 6-hour energys
i’m so gar in all ways / that it’s much more like menergy
i’m my own worst enemy / but everyday i’m working it
wipe the smile off your face / so you better stop smirking, kid
you say i’m not famous enough / to get up on wiki
but I know that my game is so tough / and you just don’t get me
all you want is more gimmes / wanna get more swag
but your sound drags / meanwhile i get all of it bagged
