Well, more than 4GB for sure, as I know the new record will pop it up over that limit. I might pop some of the vids I nixed from youtube on it too, as well some instrumentals. It really depends on how complete I want to push it. That said, I want to leave room for expansion as I release new material, and I as unearth and post preinternet material in the future.

I don't know if you tried playing with what are normally the function keys(f3 for expose). It's not exactly what you want, but maybe it's something that will make your transition a little easier. Also if you're so inclined you can use quicksilver and some applescripting to get the sort of snapping you want, with keyboard shortcuts. http://jon.smajda.com/2007/06/30/keyboard-control-for-mac-os-x-windows/

I doubt that helps but I hope it does.

Thanks,
Dusty C.

Yeah, a surprising number of people (more than none) have been positive on the idea of a self-aware merch shirt. Maybe I should take a page out of Beefy's book, and do a pre-order thing for the shirt, then run off what I need + a few for shows. Might be a good use of time/money.

[...] The previously discussed fan video has cracked over 1100 views in under two weeks. I clearly need to do stuff like that more often, by which I mean rap on very specific subjects in a rather relaxed, clear fashion over a fairly simple, but well-produced beat. Then, luck out, and have a fan devoted enough to cut a video for it. [...]

On the suggestions just made: considering they each got a vote from people on the Ultraklystron Facebook too, the votes here get those songs on the comp (though I'll probably use the standard Nerdcore Life mix.)

On revisiting tracks: It's obvious from any recent live performances that when I perform the old material it's definitely with an evolved style, but if I put time into vocal recording any time soon, it should be on a new album. I have 19 (+/-2) songs ready to go (lyrics and instrumental completed,) they just need to be recorded and mixed.

And, since I'm still here, I agree with the idea that the production being wildly different between each release is kinda an issue and that it'd be fake to clean up old work but as a fan, boy, it'd be a real treat to hear you revisit some of those older tracks given how much you've evolved as an artist since.

Really good choices. All great tracks, and probably the representation of your music as a whole. Though I'd like to through in my suggestion of "Five to Nine" - my personal favourite.
