9 bucks buys you my record as mp3s. Give me a heads up if you buy it off this service, and/or if you spot it on other services (especially iTunes and Amazon mp3.) If this works (IE: it gets out where it should, and it puts $$dollarsigns in my pocket,) the rest of the nerdcore discography will go up including the out-of-print revision4920.

the grand watunes experiment / some lyrics

So, through this somewhat new (well new to me,) service, watunes I should have The Fourth Estate available on all the major download stores including iTunes and Amazon.com. I hope this works. If it does, I’ll get the other records out the door as well.

Meanwhile, I finally have a lyrics page up for The Fourth Estate. The rest of the lyrics up for Opensource Lyricist are also up.

Download Delays

Over two weeks later, and I still don’t have the record up for download. Why you might ask, even though I have the internet? (Though, funnily enough I’m at an internet cafe right now.) Well, payloadz is consistantly punking out about choking down the massive zip, and I’m sort of still sussing out info about how to get the album on iTunes and/or Amazon mp3 (especially since I’m not sure whether it’d be worth it on the cost tip.)

I feel bad that a lot of people have already received their hard-copies, and yet I still don’t have downloads up. Sorry about that.

I should probably post up lyrics too. -_-;

PS: Behold, the first review of The Fourth Estate. it’s quite positive.

Comcast Rage

The internet line to my house is outright broken – can I see that a bird or squirrel must have nawed through it. How this hasn’t taken out my TV as well is beyond me, though maybe it’s muxed in the box on the side of my house. There are enough wires being slung over to make that plausible.

Anyway, upon calling Comcast at 10 in the morning today, they said they couldn’t get a truck out for a day. This has delayed the digital release. Sorry about that. Yell at them or something.

PS: I am so looking at FIOS after this. I’d get the Funimation channel too.

CD’s out

It’s for sale in the store for 14 US Dollars for shipment in the US, with a digital download via payloadz (for 4 bucks less,) forthcoming. If you’re impatient and/or you like hard copy, it’s all about the store, or if you’re at SakuraCon, buy it it in person for the cost of the digital release.

While waiting for my CD to arrive from the replicator

You can download the Desu Desu Desu Mixtape that I finally put together. It’s only 10 songs, only one of which you’ve all definitely not heard before, and one of which is just a remix. However, it’s free and weird. It’s also pretty raw production wise.

By the way,

4 new songs are now up at the myspace. If you’re wondering what the new record is gonna sound like, what I’ve posted should give you a pretty good idea of what it’ll be like. Also, some promo copies are now making the rounds. If anyone actually talks about them, I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Also, I’ll be at SakuraCon obviously. If you want to get a hold of me there, you should probably contact me in advance as it sounds like it’s going to be huge and thus difficult to find folks in a crowd.

Ok, found a solution.

Re-did the cover art for a standard jewel case, only ordering 50 copies. May or may not make it in time for SakuraCon. If not, ce la vie. It was a less a hard date than a timeframe to ensure I didn’t needlessly drag it out.

Not an April Fool’s Joke

So, I have the choice of having the CD in my hands in time for Sakuracon (and paying a healthy premium) or missing Sakuracon but paying considerably less. Either way it looks like I’d have to ditch the DVD-style case as either I’m fighting DiscMakers stupid changes to their replication system, or I’m changing replicators all together.

Maybe I should just do digital distro and call it a day.
